I was out scouting yesterday when I got to close to some birds and they flew way off. Do turkeys usually come back to the same area if no pressure is put on them for a couple of days?

Yep!  Usually within the hour.  I killed a bird last spring that was spooked out of a field. I went to the place he vacated the field, waited 30 minutes and started calling, he came running to a load of number 4's.

If the continually get spooked in the same area, they may move on some, but don't sweat it.

Glad to here it. There was a nice tom in the bunch. I am taking a friend out who has never shot a turkey before and I'd like for him to get  good one.
