i used the super all call this year with great results-i love the stuff for any set possible.my question is that i caught 3 rabbits at scent posts using it.the first one i caught i just thought he "stumbled'on the trap,but after two more,i figured the scent attracted them.i dont mind catching them at all,they make good yote bait.i am just interested why a rabbit would be attracted to a "fox" scent.i like the challenge of understanding scents and why they attract the animals,i just cant figure this one out.thanks,and thanks for the super lures.your weasel lure is deadly on south georgia coons.evan

You gotta watch out a bit now a days...Asa is gettin up there in years and has been makin some mistakes as of late. He sent me 4oz of Nature stuff bottled in a defective jar...the dang thing broke all over the inside of my truck...dang near died.

So he probably just miss labled a jar of rabbit fetch with a fox lable. Next year just set two traps at every location that a way when you catch a rabbit in one you will have another to catch the coyote that comes to eat the rabbit :shock:

:grin: I catch a few rabbits each season too. All preservatives such as sodium benzoate are salt products and rabbits probably are looking for the salt. Then there are some ingredients that I would call universal attractants in that they will elicit some response fron any and all animals. Glad to hear you were well pleased with my lures Evan! Thanks! I catch rabbits every year also.

One that sticks out the most this year was. I had caught a fox at this one location 3 nights in a row. Well it was definitely a foxy smelling set I pull up to the trap and notice something is odd. Get out and take a look and there is rabbit fur everywhere and a rabbit foot left in the trap. Needless to say it was a remake and foot went down the hole. Yes, the next day there was a red.
