Leupold European30 Scope?

Hi guys, I have seen the Leupold European30 Scope at MidwayUSA at closeout prices. Are they good/bad or what. Are they just gussied up Tascos or the real deal. I just got a M1A Scout and need to scope it for hunting, informal target and plinking. Thanks, Gary H
