You'll need to specify a muzzle velocity in order to calculate the drop at various ranges, also the height of the scope above the bore centerline, and the ballistic coefficient of your bullet.  Any number of ballistic programs can calculate it with that minimal data.

Bob K is of course correct.

What I've found to be easy is just to shoot at 5 yards, and adjust until you are horizontally dead on, and very slightly high  (1/4" or so). That should get you on the paper at 100 yards.

I also use a lot of paper.

If you zero it at 50 your drop at 200 will be considerable.
Since you have a 3x9 scope you are capable of long distance shooting. I suggest you zero it at 100, at the least.  This would only put you a little high at 50. Most guys zero a couple inches high at 100, this would put you in good shape out to near 150, but still can hold dead on at 50 and kill the deer.
Aim small don't miss.
