I was thinking about getting a 10" 45 Win. Mag. barrel. Does anyone have one ? What do you think of the cartridge?
Thanks,
Bim

If any of you need 45 win mag brass let me know. I have 180 winchester 45 win mag cases. You pay shipping only, about $7 to$10 bucks.  :D

I have a 10" 45 Win Mag and love it. It does kick a bit at full strength loads. I load full 230 gr. for hunting. Some downloaded 185 for practice and some 45ACP loads (in a 45 Mag case) for plinking (very mild). I have heard that some shoot 45ACP ammo in the barrell. I haven't tried that. I put fiber a sight from Ed on the rear and gunsmithed in a fiber front sight.

good luck
