Moose hunting in B.C. or Alberta

Wondering if anyone has information available for Moose hunting in either B.C. or Alberta.  Been putting in for the drawing here in Montana for 27 years and would like to hunt them for it's too late.  Thanks!

Taxmiser:

If you want to get giant moose, you need to head for the northern half of the province.  Most guys hunting moose in the interior hop in the truck and head for the Vanderhoof/Houston area, or up the Alaska Hwy if you are looking for a big rack.  Basically anywhere on the interior plateau, north of Quesnel, and east of the coast mountains.  They aren't uncommon in the south, just smaller with small racks.  Northern Alberta should be good too, once you leave the open prairie and get into muskeg.
We call 'em swamp donkeys for a reason.

Thanks Jack,

My dad used to go to Alberta for moose years and years ago when a license was $25.00 US.

I am wondering if non-resident hunting is a thing of the past, if not can one just purchase a license or is it a lotto system?  Used to be a requirement that non-residents had to have a local with them while hunting, still in effect?

Appreciate any and all input.................

Dale

Is a link to the BC reg's - If you aren't a resident of Canada, you need a guide.  Getting guns back and forth across the border may be fun too.
