Found a like new Contender frame from a local dealer for $200.  Would like to put a 10" 22 Mag barrel on it.  How come it's so hard to find these barrels?  Were they low production or what?  Anyone have one for sale?  Thanks.

I don't have a mag barrel, but you can always check at edstc.com. He is a real good new and used tc dealer. He has all kinds of stuff for tc. For the most updated list you can call or e-mail him from the web site. Very reputable and great service.

I have both a 10" and 16" in 22WMR.  Mine are not for sale.  I found my 10" for sale on the classifieds here.  You may want to post a want to buy (WTB) ad.

Gregory,
I have one for sale.  I'd need to get $170 plus shipping.  Its in great shape and is an accurate barrel.  You can email me at allank@media-choice.com

Thanks,
Al

I have a custom shop 12 inch stainless barrel and I have to tell you, it's really a great shooter, it shoots good enough for me to invest in a better scope than I had on it and it now wears a silver 2x6 Bushnell trophy scope.
You need to buy a bunch of boxes of different ammos and see which ones shoot best, mine likes super x JHPs and that is good because they go for $7 or less at Wally world.
When I'm really pressed for time and don't have time to reload and want to go hunting or shooting with, the 22 mag barrel comes out.  Mine will shoot sub 1 inch groups with the super x ammo and I'm not that good a shot.

Thanks for the offer Al, but I'm not in the market for barrels.  I think earlyriser is the one you want to contact.

Earlyriser, I couldn't get your email to work earlier today, so I've sent you a PM on the barrel we had emailed about.
