Old Cane, I think it will hang up as it passes the forcing cone. Seems like I've heard that, anyway. That's why I try to keep all my shot guns in one guage. and my cowboy stuff in one caliber. If anyone will srew up, it'll be me! :-D
I would like to vote for the .45 Colt. Yes, the .38/.357 is cheaper, and has less recoil, but I'm shooting for the fun of it, not for the compitition.
I load pyrodex in my .45s and let 'er bang! There is just something about the bellow of a good 'ole .45 with the Holy Black in it!
