What's have you found shoots best?

I don't own one, but Sierra reports that for accuracy the:

110s shoot best with 50.7 grains of N550
130s shoot best with 45.1 grains of Varget
140s shoot best with 43.6 grains of Varget
150s shoot best with 51.4 grains of H4350

These velocities are within 100 fps of the recommended hunting loads for each bullet weight.

Was that data taken from Sierra's pistol data, or rifle data? I don't have their newest edition and the 270 isn't in the pistol data of my older books.

I've been shooting 45 grains of IMR-4895 with a Sierra 90 gr HP and getting consistent groups of 1" or better at 50 yards. :grin: That's good enough for me considering the trigger, gotta take it apart and try to get rid of the creep.

By the way, what powder are they recommending for the 90 ?
