Range finding reticles
« on: April 17, 2004, 07:24:09 AM »
Does anyone have or shot using  Leupolds "varmit reticle", how do you suppose it would do on paper targets as well.
I realy like the idea of the Horus vision scope but dont want to spend that kind of money, I thought the Varmit reticle would be a good lower cost alternitive
Will be putting it on my .308 AR
Thanks

I've always preferred a mildot or variation for scope ranging. Cheapest halfway decent mildot scope I'm aware of is Bushnell's 3200 Elite 10x40 for about $180 (but no AO). Next step up would be the Tasco Super Sniper (10x, 16x, 20x) w/mildot reticle & AO for about $300. HTH...
