They have a good reputation for accuracy in bullseye guns and some other kinds of 1911s. They sell other guns too. They make their own slides. Questor:  BamBams gave us a good rundown on those handguns.  I think the end result is that the Rock River 45s are the good ones but the Rock Island 45s made in the Philipines are the rough ones.  Mikey.

With that kind of price difference, I'd sure hope that the Rock River were considerably better!  These prices are getting up there with Baer's and Wilsons
