First on the block!
« on: June 17, 2004, 04:21:14 PM »
Guys:

Am I the only one who wants to be first on the block to pick-up one of these?   8)   This looks like a wicked little gun...

I'll bet you can really put the hurt on the ground squirrel population with one of these!  Trouble is that by the time they get tested and approved for sale in CA, something better will come along.

Passing fad or the real thing?

Looks like a winner!  I would only question the wisdom of putting a thumb rest grip on a gun with a thumb magazine release.  Try to do that one handed!!!!!!   44 Man

:cb2: The BEST magazine release ever was on the S&W 2206. It had a recessed button on the front of the grip. It was out of the way, you couldn't feel it holding the gun, nor was there any way you could activate it accidently (unless you can "bend steel with your bare hands" like you know who), yet it was so easy to push with the middle finger of either hand, (great if you are happen to be a leftie), and was just the perfect one hand magazine release. Never understood why it was never used on anything larger than a .22.

Oh well.

Yup!  It's on my list...only problem is the "state" will only let me buy one gun a month...and there are a few others already in the que.  Nice that someone is looking out for my interest...huh? :?
