what the best bench rest for for less than 100 dollars? and for more than 100 dollars?

Can't say anything about "the best," but I've been very happy with the Caldwell "Rock."

I bought the Rock and am very happy. Just order the bags prefilled if
you get one. :-)

I don't know of any product that can compete with the Rock.  Excellent rest for the money.  It IS a little light-weight for serious use though.  Some of the higher-end rest include Bald-Eagle, Hart, and Sinclair.
