Kimber Customer Service Is Still Outstanding
« on: March 08, 2004, 05:52:09 PM »
Sent them my slide on 26 Feb to have new Meprolights put on and for it to be refinished.  Got it back today, just 12 days later.  Perfect work!  When you consider about 4 days mailing time, and that 4 more days were weekend days, that means they did everything in just 4 days.  Who could complain about that?

I'm tickled to hear this, I just bought a Kimber CDP II .45 Auto and with tax, license, and doc. fees it came to over $1.2K.  If they at least have a decent customer service dept. I won't ever end up feeling like the world's biggest schmuck!

It looks like I'm going to have to take advantage of this outstanding customer service department because the trigger on this $1200 Kimber has too much slack and the pull is not consistent.

Sounds like a combination of trigger bow channels that need some stoning up, and maybe a trigger that was cut too small?

Please do let us know how this turns out for you.  If you talk to Dennis at the custom shop, you should get really good results I'd expect.

Also Devon in customer service is a great guy who knows his way around the red tape.

Good luck!
