What kind of accuracy results can I expect from the T/C 10" 22 LR Match barrel and the right ammo?

I shot a 4 shot group at 50 yards the other day and all were touching, that is a 1/2" group. Ammo was CCI Mini Mags HP.

I picked a 10" 22LR match barrel up a few weeks ago. Haven't got a chance to shoot it yet, but I'm hoping it's a real shooter. Planning on tagging some tree rats with it - it's primary purpose.

Please forgive my ignorance, I am brand new to the Contender scene. I assume that TCA = Thompson Center Arms, I did not know they ever offered a stock 6.5" barrel. If not where did you find a 6.5" barrel. Custom shop?

Very interesting. Anybody have a picture of a contender with 6.5" barrel installed? Be neat to see what it looks like...

Several years ago I picked up a 10" Encore barrel for the .454. I wrote T/C asking how many were made and they said 100.

Could it have been made for the Association?

Thanks for posting the pic. Thats a pretty interesting looking rig. I just got a 10" .22 LR Match BBL from Ed's. He has a 6.5" too. I'm tempted to say the least. I am in soooo much trouble with this contender thing.
