went to my local pawn shop and bought a 35 rem 336 pre 82  with maple stock no modifications or crossbolt safety 98% condition, and a 303 enfield with allen sling and scope mount and rings for 300 dollars for both.
Mk1 no 4 payed 200 dollars for the 336 and 100 for the enfield. good deal or not.

Not a bad deal on the combo at all....
I have an Enfield No 4 Mk I, but it is all matching and came with a correct and matching bayonet / scabbard.  By that, I don't mean that the bayonet was simply correct for rifle, but it was SERIALED to it.
I paid $200 for it, and while some said I paid too much, I challenged them to find another one with its correct matching bayonet.  They then thought it was a pretty good deal.
I don't know what condition your Enfield is in, but $100 for any Enfield in good condition with good headspace and bore is an extremely good deal.
So 3 beans for both is nice.
