Went out about a month ago to the family farm pond, I caught 3 nice channels, 8 lbs, 9 lbs, and 14 lbs.  Almost kept the 14 lb to get it mounted, prettiest channel cat I've ever caught.  I know that there's one that goes 20 lbs in it, I caught it last year, but the pond used to be catch and release only, so I couldn't keep it.  Now the house is being bought by a development corp., so I took them to another family member's pond and released them there, because the first pond is going to get bulldozed when the house is sold.
