What's the consensus on the 44 Mag case necked down to 357 vs. the 41 Mag case necked down to 357? I am given to understand that in a rifle the 357-44 is the clear winner but I am thinking revolver where it seems to be more of a contest. I am planning this on a 357 Ruger Blackhawk for which I have an extra 9 mm cylinder to do the conversion on.The 44 case is said to be oversized while the 41 case allows more pressure. On the other hand I am already running the 357-44 in a S&W, so if I go with that in the Ruger, I avoid having to get another set of dies, etc.
