AR stock / receiver wobble
« on: May 07, 2004, 05:38:38 AM »
got a bushy A2 Shorty carbine. It has some wobble where the stock meets the receiver. I think it's just the way they"re designed. Is there a fix to tighten this area where the upper pins to the lower. I heard someone uses an O ring to fill this gap but to me thats just temporairy and just a matter of time till the O ring works it's way out or gets chewed up. Anyone know of a fix or am I destined to live with this. Also, I do believe this is common on all AR"s or copies.

Not a problem, go to: www.fulton-armory.com sight and look under AR-15 parts and accessories and you will see "Accu-Wedge" for 4.95, you put this at the lower back part of your AR-15 behind the pin and you will have a very tight upper and lower.  Most shooters shooting service rifle use these, I have one.  You can also call them at 1-800-878-9485.

Good Luck
