I was seriously looking at a 45 Colt Taurus 460 6.5" in SS, as advertised by CDNN. I'd read many great things about Taurus until I did a search here.
The posts are everywhere and it's hard to make sense of the info since it's scattered, but I seem to have gathered that Taurus customer service is lousy, or that that's an understatement.
Maybe they think that lifetime warranty means they can take your lifetime to get it back to you.
My priorities in any gun are, in this order: Safety, reliability, longevity, accuracy, ease of operation, and appearance last.
My hopes for such a revolver would be primarily for black powder target shooting, and secondly as a backup for whitetail deer hunting.
I was also hoping for a more substantial aftermarket grip, as the compact model one seems a little anemic. I have large hands
Are these just pieces of crap and that's why CDNN has them on closeout? I've had nothing but good experience with CDNN's products before.
