The '94 isn't that difficult to tear down, although it may be the first time you try it. After doing it a couple of times, it's a piece of cake. I'm not suggesting you tear it down every time you clean the gun, but I usually take mine down once a year or so, and get the crud out. There are plenty of these guns out there that have never been apart, and work just as well as the day they were assembled. Depends on the conditions you use the gun under.
