Try a Little Kindness
« on: May 11, 2004, 03:27:35 PM »
I found out about the Firearms forums by accident about two years ago while searching for some information about my H&R rifle, and I'll have to say, it has been like attending a school for firearms junkies.
Along the way many of you have been willing to help me and others learn about things that would have taken years to research and develope.
The kindness shown here is an example of what people can be like if they try.
You folks are top notch!! 8)

Mag41vance, This truly is a site made up by many fine people. They have gone out of their way to help me and many others here. I am sure you have offered as much help and support as you have been given. Thanks for being a part of this great site...<><.... (P.S. handirifle, since I see you have posted here please check the PM I have sent you. PM's also to Deadeye and to sureshot2040 asking him to please reveal the truth of what happened to the 45-70 barrel he spoke of possibly selling. Lets get this all out in the open!!!)

Ditto on what RV said, I found the h&r site and you guys while I was searching for information on the ultra slug 20 a couple years ago.  I think I've learned more about guns, not just nef's, in the last from this group than I had my entire life!  A testament to the people here.

I would like to add my two cents.  Like “Mag41Vance” I too found this forum by accident while looking for information.  I did not know forums like this even existed.  As a new person to these forums, it is like I found a bunch of “Shooting Buddies”.  This is especially nice because where I live and work at present I have none.  And, am learning so much because questions can be asked and answered.  Appreciate all of you “buddies” and the site owner for making this forum possible.

While we're patting each other on the back I'd like to say that I think that Haywire guy is GREAT...  I've heard that he helps elderly people at crosswalks and only keeps PART of their SSI check as compensation.  :-D
