What kind of peep sight do you suggest for a marlin 1894 44 mag in silhouette comp

It depends on if you need to change your site settings or not, and if you prefer a tang sight to a receiver peep. The one thing about this game similar to all silhouette generally you need good repeatable sights, and they are not cheap. If you decide that you are going to adjust your sight settings from animal to animal, and you prefer the Tang sight, go with the Marbles. For receiver sights, I prefer the Lymans if you are going to adjust and Williams if not. And, if you can get old Redfields or Lymans that are in good shape even better. For a front sight a Lyman 17A (low profile) globe with a dot or post insert.

The Williams have a nice profile and little to snag on and once sighted in and tightened up are very secure. Great for hunting, truck gun etc. They are adjustable, but not as good as the Lyman and Redfields. If you plan on changing your point of hold, and don't need to adjust, the Williams is hard to beat. But, if you plan on adjusting during the match the Lymans and Redfields are better choices. Especially the old ones still in good shape, better quality and much tighter. New Lyman sights aren't anything to write home about, but are about the only choice.
