they are in the mail and off to be scored.this 17 is one great shooter.i think it will outshoot all the other guns out there :-D these 17s really are good shooters.i sure am glad i have one now after shooting it for a while.the only thing bad about it is the price of the ammo.well i dont have to reload for it,thats good in a way.

Are you aware that the new long rifle version of the 17HMR is being tested. It's called the 17HMR2. A long rifle case necked down for the .17

Which brings me to my next point........Why? :wink:

RV,the new 17 mach 2 should be a great shooter.the fps will be slower and it should be more accurate than the other 17.i was going to wait for the mach 2 but i decided to go with the other.the way the 17s are shooting you cant go wrong with one.i shot a friends rifle some time ago and i was sold.the ammo is a little pricey but they shoot.to make some of these 22 long rifles shoot you must pay the long dollar for the target ammo.the low dollar ammo just doesnt shoot good.the 17 ammo that is out there is good stuff and very consistant.

dont know why we need another 17 though
