What makes a collection?

What makes a collection or what makes you a collector?
I am talking T/C terms but any collection..will work.

One frame two barrels and the want to get more??

An old contender and a encore with a few pistol and rifle set ups for each??

A pistol and a rifle set-up for for each.. old contender , encore , G2 and two tcrs with a few barrels for each set up all the extras you can have with a limited budget and the want and need to get more..

Or

Do you have to be a millionaire  with the big bucks to buy the first frames special barrels the hard to get stuff that t/c dosent make anymore and lockers filled with dozens of the same cal. barrels that they will never shoot..
I have yet been able to shoot a 3 shot sub 1" group at 100 yards ...........on any deer!!!!!!

I honestly wouldn't know, because I'm not a collector, I'm a shooter.  I don't collect guns, I shoot them.  The fact that I have more than one (and more than one TC barrel) makes people think I'm a collector, though.

I feel very much like Securitysix.  I have about 200 or so gun around the house in half a dozen safes.  Class II, shot guns, pistols, rifles, contenders, encores etc.  everyone gets shot.  Some people consider me a "collector"  I just consider myself lucky and go on shooting.  By the way there are still some guns and calibers of guns that I do not have and I still save a part of my retirement check so that sooner or later I can own and shoot the ones that I don't have.

Well, I don't know, but my wife says you have to have three of something to have a collection, so I guess a collector has at least three of the things he is "collecting".  That makes me a handgun collector, a rifle collector, a single shot rifle collector, etc. but not a Martini Rifle collector or a T/C black powder collector.  It sure does make me a Contender collector!  But, my collections all get used, that's for sure!
