Does anybody have a barrel in 762x25? Ever hears of one? I guess one would have to be a custom perhaps a job for OTT.

Never seen one but have heard on one before.  I don't recall much of the details but I did get the impression it was used like a mini-whisper round.  I used to have a pile of S&B ammo for sale at local gun shows but guys that spend $100 on a gun won't spend $10 on a box of ammo.  I considered getting a barrel made for it to use it up until I found a buyer for the ammo.

Well if i had to go the custom barrel route than a 14" barrel would be just perfect. the power and velicity out of a 14" would be out of this world some of the ammo I have chronos 1750 out of the 5" barrel of my tok. Out of the 14 it would surely be a screamer. Even the regular chinese would do a good bit in that length barrel. I will think about it and maybe save my pennies until I can affort the barrel and maybe talk to mike for a time and cost estemite. May just be worth doing. But I would definately need iron sights.

HAS LOTS OF PLANS FOR MY MONEY INVOLVING HOME REPAIRS WHEITHER IT NEEDS IT OR NOT. Yeah some things need to be done others not really but she is demanding they be done and I get to pay for all of it. I have to squeese out if I can a couple of barrels for myself from Ed's but a custom barrel right now is out of the question. As is the custom work I have in mind for more than a few of my other stuff like the SRK and the DW. the smaller things like little parts I can do soon enough but new parts and barrel cutting have to wait(ever seen a 5.5 SRK? me neither but I want one complete with origional factory front sight and magnaport) Some things just have to wait.
