On another post I mistakenly believed MSP had a 45-70 barrel for sale (he did not) and I also made a JOKING comment about MSP should feel bad for getting a 35 Whelen barrel before I did. I never mentioned anything on the 35 whelen post until it was too late. My own hesitation and MSP's good fortune. That's the way the cookie crumbles.

On the post about the 45-70 barrel I made the comment about MSP should feel bad (there was a smiley face at the end) in fact he should feel so bad as to sell me the 35 Whelen barrel. (he still could :grin: )

I guess some may have missunderstood my intentions, they were purely for fun and no insult or implications were meant. I appologize if that happened and am posting here to clear up any confusion. As far as the 45-70 barrel goes?

I don't have a clue who has it nor do I care, I was just joking with MSP. Hope this clears up any hurt feelings.

Thanks handirifle, come over here and let me give you a big hug! You are quite a guy and man enough to clear things up. I do appreciate it. No hard feelings buddy. I wonder who did get the 45-70 barrel? Hope is was either Deadeye or marv, they each deserve it. If there was an extra one to go around I would vote it went to you!!!....<><.... :grin:

MSP Ret...guess you know where to find a buyer for that Whelen if ya ever want to get rid of it.... :-D I think most of the confusion was due to me throwin gasoline on the campfire in all the posts in question....I guess I had better lighten up. Sorry for the confusion and count me in too for the apologies guys!
