went and did it new marlin 41 mag

it followed me home today a new marlin 41 mag.thats one good looking rifle that will sit beside my marlin ltd 45/70 in the safe.
I have a batch of 210 gr swc cast up to try.anyone tried shooting cast out of their 41 mag marlin???

Congrats on joining the .41 mag club. You won't be dissapointed.
I have a bunch of 210gr swc loaded and ready to test myself. I'll test until I get a group with my Redhawk and then see how my FG likes it.
 So far the 210gr xtp works well over 19.5 grns of W296 in my Redhawk and my Marlin FG.

WELCOME ABOARD..... fellow 41er.  
Glad to have another addition to the 41 family.
Haven't shot any cast bullets out of the FG, but shot a bunch out of the 657S&W.
Terry Labbe that owns Magnus bullet company here in AL. said that 8.1grs. of Unique was a very accurate load out of his 41 rifle with the 210-215gr. cast bullet.
Keep us posted on your results.

Congrats on your new 41, TXPete, I envy you.  I have long lusted after a Marlin  FG, but right now my revolvers are eating up all my "discretionary capital'.  Suckers eat a lot!   :shock:

BTW, what kind of bait did you use to get that FG to follow you home?   :?
