21 grains of H110 over Speers 270 Gold Dot. That so far is the only jacketed bullet I have tried in my 44 Handi, but keep on the look out for future posts. The only cast bullet I have had luck with over 1300 fps is Magnus Bullet Co. #704 300 grainer. Nice bullet. I tend toward castin my own, so I only had a sample, but that sample was nice shootin'. It is very likely that the best mold ever made for the 44 is Lymans 429421. Some here have reported good results with Hornady's XTP bullets. There is a lot of data available for the 44 and a number of good recipies available. Noslers 250 Partition could also prove an interesting bullet.

Hellacatcher, I load my Ruger Super Redhawk with 24.2 grains of Winchester 296, under a 240 grain Hornady XTP bullet.  This is the only load I've shot in this gun other than working up to this max charge.

I would like to try some heavier cast bullets though.
