Question for Canucks
« on: May 11, 2004, 02:06:00 PM »
Are there any restrictions on shipping ammunition into Canada?  I'd like to send my ammo up ahead of the Nationals so I don't have to fly with it.  Any info appreciated.  Thanks!
Chris

Hello Fivepigs,
you have to check with UPS, call them up and ask if they would deliver, they also would know the limits, I know one time i had a hell to try to send some 22s to the USA, but i think it is easier the other way.
let me know whats up,
another option is to send it to someone in the US and maybe they can bring it over by car.

UPS won't ship ammo internationally
« Reply #3 on: May 13, 2004, 03:30:13 PM »
Thanks to you both for good suggestions.  I'm still waiting to hear back from the Canadian site, but UPS responded right away:

"Thank you for your inquiry.  We apologize, but ammunition is
prohibited in the UPS International system.  We are unable to
ship the merchandise to an international destination."

I'll try shipping it to a friend who's driving up.

See you at the Nationals!
