Mollie Davis has another surgery

It's me again, guys.

Mollie goes in for surgery Monday morning, 7:30 AM CST  at Arkansas Children's Hospital. She has a blockage in her spinal column that is backing up spinal fluid above and below the blockage. A piece of bone from her skull is grown into the fluid channel in the column and stopping it up.

It is the 3rd and most risky surgery to date. If it is not done, she will lose mobility and suffer pain. If something goes wrong during the surgery, she could suffer all kinds of problems including paralysis.
 
Lindsey and I are nervous as a bunch of cats in a room full of rockin' chairs. This one scares me, something I find hard to admit to my self, let alone my wife.

I need your help again. Prayers and good thoughts, whatever you are able to do. Please guide her physician's hands as he takes my daughter's life into his hands.

Your family will be in my prayers.  My brother had to go through a serious surgery over ten years ago.  The doctors said there was a high possibility he would not make it through the surgery, but he did and is now living a normal life.  God works in mysterious ways, and I know he is with your daughter and your family at this time.  It is a rough road to travel, but you will make it.

Jeff,

your last name, Davis, is still hand-written on my prayer sheet from Ephesians chapter six, asking for protection for the three of you every morning as i eat breakfast.

but i also suggest you get onto www.cbn.com and ask Pat Robertson and his people to pray for the three of you.....which you can do by phone or e-mail.    you may not agree with Pat's views, but the Lord hears his / their prayers.    i highly recommend you ask the Lord through them for favor on your daughter.

Surgery is over and

MOLLIE IS FINE!!!

She came through with flying colors. She is sleeping more or less peacefully (thanks to morphine and Valium!) and will be moved from ICU to a standard room tomorrow.

All the fluid from her back has been removed and a patch graft put in place where the bone plug was removed.

She will be in the hospital the rest of the week. I will keep you posted when time allows.

Thank you all for your kind words and prayers. They mean a lot to me and Lindsey, as well as restore a little faith in mankind.

To think LIberals have the GALL to accuse gunowners of being killcrazy nutjobs who only want to destroy and care nothing for the sanctity of human life.  If only one could see this site and climb off their high horse to see the bonds of fellowship formed here... SIGH WIshful thinking I know.

Jeff: Good to hear Mollie's doing well, sorry to hear of her troubles. I'll keep her in my prayers.

Thank God she was able to come through the operation as well .
