Coltrane - The story of Mollie has really touched me in my heart and I tear up at each post about her that I read. I have a 12 yr. old daughter myself who is "daddy's little girl" and who I've made promise that she always will be, regardless. She has also said that she isn't getting married until she is 30, or was it 27, maybe it was 21, no I think it was 19, anyway I believe that the age goes down with each passing year. Hummmm, better keep them shootin irons in plain view, and well lubed.
We had a small accident at my workplace last week that could have certainly been much worse. I drive a forklift and manage two warehouses that sit side by side (I also drive the delivery truck after I load it) but I was moving skids from one warehouse to the other and she came to bring me a fax that had come in and was standing at the end of the ramp to the warehouse that I was in and because she was talking to one of her girlfriends on the phone, she wasn't paying attention, and I never saw her either, and I hit her with the skids and proceeded to roll her up under them and almost completely ran over her with with the forklift  She is pretty boogered up but OK Thank God. She is so special tho, within one minute she was more concerned about me and how I was reacting than she was about herself, "I'm tough daddy, I can handle it", "I'm OK daddy, don't feel bad." It took me about two hours to regain good sense and I didn't sleep well that night as you can imagine. She just returned from children's church camp last night and we will be together again today and I can't wait to have "special time" with her today after she was gone all weekend. We have raised four boys who are grown and gone now and girls are just a little different and a little more precious to their daddys than boys, can't really explain that, just know it.
Anyway I know and can feel your concern for Mollie, and I am trusting God and asking Him for many precious years for the two of you to spend together. I have you, your wife, and Mollie on my prayer list now and am looking forward to more posts and would love to receive those pics. Just send them to catchnm@duracom.net.
God BLESS you and your family,
John
