Just picked up a Nikon monarch gold ucc 2.5x10-50 30mm tube

wow is all i can say just awesome.

bright clear and crisp just fablous it rivals my euro stuff no trouble at all

Yea, they certainly are top-of-the-line optics!

I have been using the 1" Monarchs for quite some time now and just love them.  They have never failed me!
