We need to be selling barrels on Ebay.  There is a 30-30 barrel for $103 right now.  Hopefully these poor souls find out how much the barrels really cost before much longer.

I can see a discontinued caliber (35 Whelen, 444 Marlin, 357 etc) but a 30-30?

I agree guys, I have purchased a barrel on e-bay but for a bit less than what it would have cost me to buy it new, if it was available in that configuration, which it is not. Also, it was a new/unfired, 20 gauge, 22" modified choke, nickled shotgun barrel. As I said it is not listed as available and the price was OK, and I wanted a 20 gauge barrel (still need another cheap one for a 20 gauge "Tracker I" project, choke and general condition unimportant since the barrel it will be cut off anyway and have a scope rail added - hint-hint if anyone has on old junker in the closet!!). That said, I too am shocked that most Handi barrels on e-bay go for more than a new one would cost. There are the exceptions like the .22 Rem Jet that was (or is) just offered. If someone was looking for one (.22 Rem Jet) that is one of the few places to get one....<><....  :grin:

Nearly all the H&R, NEF barrels go higher than Factory prices, Except
i saw a 22 Jet barrel for 75.00$ may have gone higher, I will not buy on
E-Bay High Junk big ship cost. I got stung once T C carbine barrel.
My son & I have not got it to shoot good  [Still working on it]

What in the world is this? A threaded H&R ultra barrel in 7mm Rem Mag? Fat part of barrel for chamber looks awful short to me.

H&R isn't affiliated with the old Harrington and Richardson and it obviously isn't for an NEF Handi unless it's for some unfinished stubbing project.  Harrington and Richardson must have produced a rifle that took threaded barrels at one time.  I'm not familiar with what they offered.

I seem remember Some bolt action that was made overseas for H&R
it was short lived, that may be what it is, but not a brake action type.

I went and dug thru all my ref. mat'l could find whers H&R every had
a 7 mm Mag in any kind of action. What did find was 308 & 243 semi-
auto, {made by some one else} over seas some where. What little
from pictures look some what like Winchester Model 100. That all I could find Marv.

H&R sold a bolt gun for some time.  Had a quality FN mauser action.  Here's one up for auction:
