Went fishin with some country boys

I got a chance to do some fishing with a few guys from the mountains of PA. They were down in the Baltimore/Washington area working and friend of mine took they out for a day of Striper, or Rockfish as we call them in Maryland, on the Chesapeake Bay. They just couldn't get over the size of the fish. The three fish in the picture were between 36 and 38 inches. It was one of the best times I have every had fishing.  Here's a pic of the guys and a few of the fish we caught.



I Hope to do it again and maybe I will get an invite to head up to PA for a little deer hunting this fall. :-)

Where in the Chesapeake were you fishing? I haven't got out yet this year. Good lookin fish.I grew up in Oxford Md and mostly fish out of the Chestrtown, Rock hall area when I get a chance. I do a little surf fshing in the Delaware bay and ocean as well. Mostly I just work overtime and think about fishing.
