Help with trigger pull on a 15-2
« on: June 11, 2004, 08:59:48 AM »
I would like to smooth out the double action pull. Can this be done with a spring kit or should I seek the help of a smith to tune it up? Thank you in advance for your help.

You posted Smooth out DA pull.
The only way to Smooth the parts is with a Sear Stone a Gunsmith would be best for that. To lighten the DA/SA pull use a Wolff Hammer spring and trigger return spring, You could also polish key parts to achieve a smoother pull also.A dremel would be needed and some Flitz.
I plan on getting the Wolff Kit for my 15-2 as well in the future I have a large order to put in with Wolff, I need springs for Beretta92FS, SIG Sauer P229, H&K P7M8, Ruger MKIIx2, AR-15, Ruger SP101, and my Dan Wesson 15-2.. Plus a Few others I've forgotten about.
I'm not a Gunsmith polish at your own Risk!!
The Wolff Springs may be all you need?
Good Luck!! DW...
I still have seven guns to clean from last weeks range trip, I gotta do something about my Gun Habit :D

Thanks for the info. Yes the DA pull is a little rough, the weight is OK. But I may still try the Wolff kit and see what happens.
