looking to get a new G2

Is it better to buy online or at a dealer?

If online, where are some good places?

I'm looking at the following:

G2
wood grip/forend
10" 22LR
14" 357 mag


I want a scope, but I'll get that later.

I'm brand new to G2.   Have a NIB 10"  .22LR Match BBL I bought from Ed and I'm picking up a 12" .44MAG today locally.

So far in my limited travels, I have found Ed to offer uncommonly excellent service at the lowest prices.   I talked to him on the phone, he patiently answered all my newbie questions.  I ordered the bbl and had it in my hands 2 days later.

When you buy on line, you don't have to pay sales tax.  On a more expensive piece, the tax is usually as much than the ffl transfer and the shipping.
