Need to know about northwestern Oregon now.  Is it good squirrel hunting, or nothing really there like Washington?

About 60 miles East of Portland.  There are tons of squirrels here, especially around my house, they are a pest.
....make it count

Oregon Squirrel regs

Oregon has limited seasons on the western gray squirrel in limited areas, not state wide. One is Sep 11- Oct 19, the other is Aug 28 - Nov 10. Elsewhere and at other times the state is closed to the taking of this species. It would behoove you to check the regs before you do any hunting. Oregon as in Washington allows the taking of beldings and california ground squirrels, which are abundant east of the cascades. They are locally known as gray diggers.
