Any of you guys ever steal worms and crawlers from
robins I do :oops:
After I mow the lawn the birds are right there to pick them up, well they try to. I wait till they get one all the way out and then start walking toward them, they'll drop it most of the time and hop a few yards away. Just go over and pick it up and put it in a can. :lol:
If you walk slow they'll stick around and not fly off, you want them to keep working for you so don't scare them.
Sometimes you'll get a few that are ripped in half but thats ok.
Items you'll need; Lawn mower, a little energy, after you've mowed the lawn you'll need a lawn chair, few cold beverages and a can for the crawlers,
A couple of cold barley pops = a couple dozen crawlers
