I have owned it for a couple of years now. It acts funny if I put about 200 rounds through it and I heat it up,  otherwise it has been great.
What is your experiance with them?

Those grips are more for decoration than shooting my lady found out; her's now wears a set of rubber ones from Pachmayr®.

Spriteman;

I bought an Ultra-Lite Model 85 last year.
It goes with me eveywhere.
I still have the first 5 shot group on a 1/2 sized B-27 target I shot from about 20yds. off hand. It put all five rounds in the center kill zone. It shoots better off hand than from a sand bag rest. Why... I don't know, but to me it's a shooter.
Mine came with the black rubber grips on an all frosted silver frame.
I'll have to say I'm completely satisified with it.

Good shooting.  :D

Dennis.

It's amazing to see how well the Taurus® 85 peforms. All three of mine out shoot my S&W Airweight®; any bullet, any weight.
