hey willy?? last i saw T/C still uses a paten breech,aka: snail,,and the fire comes from the back.(kinda through a little curvey hole,)(like a snail?)
bubba45,,you can use pellets if ya want/have too, but they don't suit that rifle best,,a loose powder will give you the oppertunity for a wider range of load development and thus greater accuracy in the long run. The slow twist (1-66) of your T/C Penn. was made for ball shooting,, don't get me wrong,,your not limited to just ball shooting, but money spent on the new plastic saboted pistol bullets for that gun could be simply marked up as a learning experiance. : :shock: .
If you can't find true bp in your area,,spend the extra money on Triple777 2F loose powder,,a little extra driving and/or a little extra cash spent on the proper powder will sure help out now!!
