Best 22 Rimfire Rifle 1" Scope Rings???
« on: June 14, 2004, 09:04:45 AM »
What manufacturer makes the best 22 rimfire rifle 1" scope rings for a dove tailed receiver?  Leupold?  Other?

Who is a good mail order outlet for rings, mounts, accessories, etc. with good prices, good customer service, etc?

Thanks, Dave

I really like BKL ring mounts, they have an excellent assortment depending on your needs. If the BKL web site is down, which it seems to be now, you can see the mounts at the alternative site.

I'll second the motion for BKL's. They are well made, fit both 3/8" and 11mm dovetails, and are not expensive. Brownell's sells them also. I have a few sets on rifles that I'm happy with. You won't go wrong buying them.

Just curious what is it about those BKL mounts/rings that yall like so much?  Do you think their quality is comparable or superior to Leupold and other mfgs?

Thanks, Dave

I've never seen anything negative about BKL mounts, in fact everyone at RFC recommends them highly, they are THE go to rimfire mount. I've got a couple of em and they are the best that I have ever used. They fit well and are as solid a mount as I could ask for. They are machined to close tolerances and BKL doesn't make anything but rimfire mounts so they ought to be pretty good at what they do, being specialized. For the quality, their price is exceptional.

I've got a set of Beeman's on my Marlin 17 that I like better than any that I've ever owned.

I have been using Millet rings and have had good luck with them, they have a nice clean look and are adjustable for windage.
