Question on a Remington?
« on: May 29, 2004, 08:57:17 AM »
Sorry for posting this on a Marlin site but I couldent find a rimfire rifle forum or maybe I saw it and just glanced over it. But anyway heres my question, I have a Remington model 550-1 in .22 L,LR,S. The tube that holds all the shells has another tube that goes inside to put pressure on the shells. the one tube that goes in the other tube has a notch on it to keep it in the other tube. The metal notch is bending every time I shoot this gun. I have even replaced this part on the rifle but It bends out again, any ideas on how to fix this problem? Why is it doing this? Again sorry for posting on a marlin site but I had to ask somone. Thanks guys.
