help with a springer!!

my buddies v comp had the rear sight fall right out of the dovetail.   how are they kept in place on the springer?  these are adjustable sights.   he says once he sighted it in the sight fell right out of the dove tail.  my kimber has a allen screw holding tension an my rear sight,  he says he cant see anything like htat on his.   help appreciated.

Remove the front sight, stipple the bottom of the dove tail, then reinstall sight

well we got it resolved.  turns out once you let the elevation screw all the way out, the top of the sight flips over and there are two tiny allen screws that put tension on the sight in the dovetail; holding it in place.  these screws were loose.  problem solved.  

figured that i went through posting this so i might as well follow up with the answer.  someone else might benefit from it somewhere down the road.   thanks castaway for the suggestion.  that was my back up plan. :lol:
