Can anyone help me with a trigger issue on this gun ? The adjustment is all out nothing left to adjust for decrease in pull weight..it is not creepy but pretty stiff around five pounds..Do you think it is possible to remove a small portion of the spring to decrease the pressure on the trigger ? If I fail at this trick & I have nothing to lose...I am going to buy a timney replacement or any you learned members here suggest...TIA for your thoughts on this matter...Mike in Ct.   Ps this gun shoots !!! factory ammo under 3/4 of an inch some four out of five shots under .400 ...& The bore is SUPER SMOOTH

If you've relaxed the compression of the return spring as much as possible and still retain positive trigger return action and the pull is still 5 pounds, you need a lighter srping.  Take the old spring to a local smith and get one the same length with smaller wire.  This will produce a lighter pull but still give full length extension....  If you can't find anythis locally measure the length of the spring, the diameter of the wire and the diameter of the spring.  I'll look in the shop.  I keep several selections of coil springs...

Thanks Gun-nut, I may have to take you up on that offer...It is all back together now & everything is super clean in there...I used teflon on all the mating surfaces..Seems better, but only a range test will do....                               thanks again, mike in ct
