Which target shooting competition is best?

By this I mean which one takes the most skill to reach the top of the game?

Benchrest is very difficult. As is 1000yd. competition using iron sights. The others are not quite as hard to get good at. BUT, the level of competition is very high in any of these matches. To reach the top, you gonna have to burn a lot of powder & use up several barrels.

Just remember; have fun, regardless of which you shoot. :grin:

Hi Bill

Thomas got it right off the bat.  They are all the same and the best shooters will always rise to the top within any set of rules.  International AP is out of my reach with high 580's being the minimum to be considered in the "race".  I am having a good day when I get to 545  :wink:

This came up at a user group meeting at a local club with a fellow claiming he was in the only "real" sport.  Most of the rest just laughed.
