6X284 any info on this for rams

:-)  I own a O3A3 smth corona with a canjar trigger and a thumbhole lam. stock in 6X284. I am thinking of using it for custom rifle silhouette, I need to know if 168 gr. at 3228 fps is enough for rams or doese anybody have a better load, I presently use Reloader19  and barnes exterminater bullets

I'm confused by your post.....  are you talking about a   6X284 or another cartridge with  a 168 gr bullet.   If you are talking about a 6 mm bullet of 107 or 108 gr,  3100 f/s is all the velocity you need.    What confuses me it your comment about a 168 gr bullet at 3328.  Where do you get these bullets?  And what twist is your barrel?

i'm not confused, just frightened!!!  168 grains at over 3200fps?  i am clearly not man enough!!!!!

168 grain,   3200 FPS,   60 to 70 shots per match,  10lb 2oz gun.  I go along with dave and think the rams will win.
