Its been quite a long time since I have been around rifles and have just run across this brand with which I am not familiar. Does anyone have any  input on the quality of their .22 LR or magnums? Thanks.

I wish I could be of more help but I have never seen one up close and personal so I have no idea on their quality and function. I did look in a guns annual and they looked good by the pictures. I would suggest a search on the internet using a multi search engine like dogpile to get more information. I did a quick search and found a multi person review on their 45 pistols and it was like most reviews I have seen like that some thought they were great and others just ok. SO I guess it is up to your personal preference. As in buying anything I would check them out before you buy one to make sure you are happy with your purchase. Good luck with your decision and if you buy one ( or something else) let us know how you like it and post a reply. Jim

Thanks for your reply. There is a gun show in town this week and I will be attending, my first time ever to such. So, I will see what I can learn about Daly, but having read a number of posts recently, think I am now pretty much sold on a CZ Special.

The CZ seems like a well made gun and those who have one keep really bragging them up so they must be great rifles. CZ is known for making good military type guns so I am sure their sporting guns are well made also. Let us know what you buy when you do and good luck finding some thing. Jim

The Charles Daly name has changed hands a bunch of times over the years and I forget who currently owns it. But it has historically always been associated with quality made guns and other products. I suspect that reputation is likely to continue under the current ownership. BUT I have no experience with the new CD products so this is mere conjecture on my part.
