Has anyone build a 30-30 AI yet? I like to hear about it. If I ever find a 30-30 barrel or rifle this would be a pet project. I feel that the 30-30AI is a most suitable cartridge for the Handi. Fred M.

Sorry about the delay, deadeye.
I've not had time to play with my guns when the weather was (rarely) decent up here. I'm co-hosting my parent's 50th anniversary open house tomorrow, but I've got Thursday and Friday off next week. If you're ready for the reamer, I'll definitely get it in the mail a week from now.

I'm in no hurry Mitch...Heck I can't shoot it after I do the work!!  I just thought you might could answer Freds question......50 years....WoW! Bet they know each other huh??!!  Congrats to um! :D

Well..Fred...Looks like Mitch and I are the only ones that are contemplating the AI conversion and neither one of us has it done yet soooo we're on the back burner for a while.   :(

Well...I can't blame ya fred...I'm bored to tears. I guess everyone is getting tired of me whinnin about not being able to get out and shoot so I'm just getting things ready for when I do get a chance to get back into it.I've been giving my plastic a work out ordering goodies through the mail. Kinda fun but the down side is... I hate getting the bill every month!  :lol: Good luck and keep the post coming ..I really enjoy them!
