lead bullet sizer for .308 Handi Rifle.

This is a cross-post from the Handi Rifle Centerfire list.  Can anyone help?

Hi guys, quick question, what diameter sizer would you recommend for cast bullets for a .308 Handi?

I already have a .312 die for my Lee Enfield, I'm assuming that that would be too large.

So what do you think? .311, .310, .309 ?

Thanks,

Student

Slug your barrel. Buy some barrel type fishing weights and 1/4" wooden dowel. Cut the dowel into approx 6" lengths. Tap the weights with a mallet to fatten them up if needed. Grease up the weights and tap them in. Use the wooden dowel pieces to drive the slug through the barrel. It only takes a minute or so to do. Then measure the slug. Order a sizer .001 or .002 over the diameter. The Lee special order sizers are around $30 with shipping and they ship out quickly.
